The main idea behind Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is that a business has a responsibility to the society around it. Beside regulatory compliance, our CSR is driven by our moral convictions and the belief that CSR can bring multiple benefits.

Our CSR revolves around the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) concept of Triple Bottom Line (TBL) approach: "profit, people, and planet". This has been found to be an efficient tool for companies in developing nations to comply with social and environmental norms while maintaining their competitiveness.

Our CSR activities are directed towards contributing towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Following the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) guidelines, we integrate social and environmental concerns in our business operations and interactions with stakeholders.

Our CSR targets the whole value chain from suppliers to operations to partners to end-consumers while fulfilling our business purposes. To us, CSR is compliance. Sustainability is about business. CSR gets managed by communications teams.

We have established a social welfare organization named “Mahalaxmi Foundation” and Nav Jeevan Foundation to serve society. The foundation actively supports the poor and needy people and works for the upliftment of the deprived class of the society through monetary donations and aid given to non-profit organizations and communities in areas such as education, health, food, livelihood, housing, sports, etc.

Collaborative partnerships are formed with the Government, the District Authorities, the village panchayats, NGOs, and other like-minded stakeholders for taking the CSR mission forward.
